Implementation of this curriculum was based on DepEd Order No. 41, S 2004 in line with the Department Policy of making the curriculum relevant to the needs of the learners. It offered Engineering and Science Education Program (ESEP) to the Revised Education Program of the 110 Science and Technology Oriented High Schools.

The program aims to develop graduates from high school ready for college or the world of work without the need for remediation. Dep.Ed Thrust is to provide high school diploma, National Certification and Entrepreneurship skills.
